Honestly the return on investment will most likely not be worth it. On that manifold you'll have to plug the EGR port since 03 Rams don't have EGR. If you haven't already you'd have to get rid of the clutch fan and convert to an electric fan. If you are hell bent on using it, forget the rest of the stuff, get the manifold and the relocation kit (modified timing cover and bracketry) that moves the alternator and A/C compressor out of the way. Honestly it's not gonna be worth the time, effort and cost just to plop an early LX manifold on top.

But if.and I say if.you can make this work and if it's for appearance reasons then you would be foolish not to shave and paint it before installing it.Īh ok lol, I use the same handle everywhere I gotta say I have yet to see a LX/LC intake manifold swapped to a truck. A 03' RAM Hemi should be without EGR so you will need to make a plug for the EGR tube on the intake if you use it. Also I would bet that with the lower profile of the stock truck manifold that the cross over line between the rails is to short to go over the LX manifold.
5.7 HEMI INTAKE MANIFOLD DRIVERS
The inlet is on different sides with the trucks being on the drivers side. The fuel rails on the trucks and cars are different. On the cars the reservoir is mounted on the coolant tank. On the trucks the PS has the reservoir mounted to the pump. For one on the cars the power steering pump is bolted to the drivers side cylinder head(holes are not drilled and tapped on the truck head) and on the trucks it's way down on the lower engine block. YES.the power steering pump is completely different.

The water pump on the cars has the radiator hose on the opposite side than the trucks plus the trucks are a clutch fan while the cars use electric fans.on the cars of course as you already know all of the accessories are mounted different.
